MUZA BREWING CO is a contract brewery that was founded in 2021 by Serhiy Ivakh. Serhiy worked as a bartender in craft bars for many years and had a big dream of opening his own brewery.
The first ideas and development of varieties appeared back in 2021, but the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine changed plans.
The first beer was brewed a week after the de-occupation of the Kyiv region, and the first canning a month later. It so happened that from the first varieties brewed by Serhiy, Muza hit the top of Ukrainian Untappd and the beer community. Since then, the brewery has been working non-stop, releasing new varieties every week for four years in a row.
The brewery's main focus is on fruit sours and tomato gozes. Over the years, over 200 unique varieties have been brewed, with an average rating on Untappd for 2026 of 4.11.
Since 2025, Serhiy has joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is currently defending Ukraine as part of the Third Army Corps, but despite this, Muza Brewing Co. continues to brew beer, experiment, and make new, unusual beers.
The plans for 2026 and 2027 include working with local, Ukrainian ingredients. Involvement of Ukrainian farmers, the principle of adding fresh and best fruits, berries, tomatoes, spices.
