IIIO (Sho) Brewery

Who are we?
"Sho" is arguably the most Ukrainian word in existence. Long before the full-scale invasion, and long before our hometown of Mykolaiv became globally known as a Hero City, we wanted a brand that proudly screamed about its roots.
"Sho" is a statement. We are a brewery from the south of Ukraine, and we are fiercely proud of where we come from.
Our Philosophy:
We Brew Emotions
Our slogan is "We brew emotions," and it’s not just a marketing phrase. While brewing a flawless beer that perfectly hits BJCP style guidelines is great, it’s simply not enough for us.
We chase the taste.
We chase the feeling.
If a label says our beer has mango, you better believe it’s packed with a massive amount of mango.
We don’t just brew beer styles. We brew experiences.

Forged in Fire
On February 24, 2022, our city was attacked. By the next day, we were semi-encircled. The bridges out of the city were mined and raised; the only way out was to swim across the freezing river. We chose to stay.
We turned our empty beer bottles into Molotov cocktails. We used bags of brewing malt to build bomb shelters inside the brewery, hiding from the constant artillery, rockets, and cluster munitions raining down around us. We used our delivery vans to transport tons of grain to feed the army.
But the craziest part of our story? For three years, Mykolaiv had no running water. Every single drop of water used to brew our beer during those dark times was brought to us by volunteer friends who delivered drinking water to the citizens at their own expense.
Under those superhuman conditions, we found profound meaning. We realized the sheer thrill of fighting back and doing what we love. Not only did we survive, but by shipping our beer to safer parts of Ukraine, we actually tripled our pre-war sales.

Our Message to Europe
Our journey to your glass was incredibly difficult, but deeply meaningful. We are thrilled to finally present our craft to you. Beer is meant to deliver joy and pure emotion, and that’s exactly what we are here to do.
Taste the resilience. Catch the vibe. Enjoy!
