This April, we step into Riga for the first time - not just to show beers, but to understand how this city moves.

This is our first entry here.
Not as observers.
As participants.
We’re bringing three breweries from Ukraine - each with a different voice, a different approach, a different idea of what beer can be:
Varvar - one of the names that shaped the modern Ukrainian scene.
2085 - experimental, playful, pushing structure.
Underwood - clean lines, expressive twists.
They don’t overlap.
They don’t try to.
That’s exactly why they work together.
Nurme Springs: where it all comes together
On April 25th, Nurme Springs 2026 opens the season in Riga - a festival built around diversity, discovery, and direct connection with brewers.
25+ breweries.
A wide spectrum of styles.
Unlimited tasting, but more importantly, unlimited conversations.
It’s the kind of format that feels small enough to stay personal, but wide enough to discover something completely new.
But it doesn’t start there
Because a festival is only a part of the story.
The day before - on April 24th - we ease into the city.
A small pre-party at Lauvas Alus.
Nothing loud.
Nothing staged.
Just taps, breweries, and the right people in the room.
Ukrainian Selection on the lines, in conversation, in real time.
It’s the kind of evening where things happen naturally.
Where you get a first taste - before everything opens up at Nurme Springs.
What we actually bring
Not a lineup.
Not a checklist.
A snapshot.
Of how Ukrainian craft beer feels right now —from structured, classic stylesto beers that bend expectations without losing drinkability.
Some will feel precise.
Some will feel unexpected.
That contrast is the point.
